By cleaning up the pollutants left over from combustion through chemical Oxidation and Reduction reactions, the catalytic converters convert the tailpipe emissions of hydrocarbons (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO) into nitrogen (N2), carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O), and elevate the harmful emissions to extremely low levels.

Catalytic converter Working principle :

1).Catalytic converter is a device used to reduce the toxicity of emissions from an internal combustion engine.

2).Reduction of nitrogen oxides to nitrogen and oxygen:

2NOx → xO2 + N2

Oxidation of carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide:

2CO + O2 → 2CO2

Oxidation of un-burnt hydrocarbons (HC) to carbon dioxide and water:

CxH2x+2 + [(3x+1)/2]O2 → xCO2 + (x+1)H2O

Features:

1.The catalyst attached tightly with inner wall to prevent the exhaust gas from escaping to make the conversion thoroughly.

2.Outside Material: 409L stainless steel shell, stainless steel pipe

   Inside Material: ceramic (honeycomb) substrate 200 cpsi, 250cpsi, 300 cpsi, 400cpsi, 600cpsi with mat
3.The design of using advanced materials make the engine maximize its output power and catalytic efficency.
4.The use of special nanotechnology reduces cost but improve the converting essiciency.
